GD&T question, How would I check this on a CMM?

I'm not finding definitive answers to this callout. I've posed the problem to several different forums, and I get some vague ideas but, no real definitive answers. So far, I have checked 3 circles on each cylinder and recalled all 6 into a stepped cylinder. Then I'll ask for the runout of each circle back to the stepped cylinder. I'll report the worst of the three for each cylinder.

Establish a common axis from the datum features, collect surface points from the cylindrical feature in a plane perpendicular to the axis and subtract the min from max radial value for that section. Repeat for multiple sections and report the greatest value observed.
